Hit the Pavement with our Resident Run Coach
Meet our neighbor and resident-run club coach, Dani Strutz, as she guides you through her favorite running route—from the heart of Hell’s Kitchen into the iconic Central Park.

Hello Runners!
My name is Dani, your resident run coach/concierge. I’ve got you covered with all things running in NYC- best places to run, routes, fun run ideas, and the Romer Run Club.
Romer Hell's Kitchen Run Club meets every other Wednesday in the lobby at 6:30 pm with a departure time of 6:45 pm. The run is usually 3 to 5 miles. If you have any run questions, reach out.
In this first topic we are going to talk about an iconic place to run. The one, the only, Central Park! Located about a ½ mile from the Romer Hell’s Kitchen, it is super easy to get to. Central Park has so many route options- truly something for all runners. In addition to the main drive, you can also escape to a soft surface on the bridle path (we’ll talk more about this in another issue).
For today’s route, let’s keep it short & simple. This route will take you from Romer Hell's Kitchen up 8th Avenue, into Central Park at 59th Street, east around the lower loop through 72nd Street to the West Drive, back down to the 59th Street entrance of the park, then back down 8th Avenue to the hotel.

Happy Running Everyone! Talk soon!
